FAQ Answer Page

Q: When is the best time of day to workout?

A: There is not a certain time of day that is better than another when it comes to exercise.  As long as you are moving your body, you are generating improvement.  Some people may have a harder time sleeping at night if they've done a workout in the evening, but that depends upon each individual so find a time that works best for your schedule.

Q: How many reps/sets should I do?

A: Great question, generally if you are going for muscle strength stick with 8-10 reps and for muscle endurance shoot for 12-15.  You should always do at least 1 set per major body part and the last 3 repetitions should be challenging.

Q: What is the difference between "Natural" and "Organic" on a food label?

A: Organic foods are those that follow the guidelines set by The United States Department of Agriculture under the (Organic food products act).  These foods are produced and manufactured using Organic means.  Natural foods are derived from plants and animals and in general refers to foods that are not altered chemically or synthesized in any form. It is important to know that Organic does NOT mean Natural and Natural does NOT mean Organic.

Q: How can I reduce Cellulite on the back of my legs?

A: This requires a change in eating habits as well as exercise.  We think of celulite as some sort of disease that will never go away when the truth is, cellulite is simply excess fat towards the surface of the skin.  Simply put, we have to exercise to target those cellulite ridden areas, and we must provide our bodies with the necessary fuel it needs in everyday life.  Cookies, Cakes, donuts, or any other processed junk will only keep the cellulite around longer.  We've got to make thenecessary dietary changes in order to see the results of our hard work in the gym.

Q: How much do you charge for an initial consultation?

A: The initial consultation does not and will not ever cost anything. An initial consultation is a means for me to classify your fitness and health levels and goals before anything else.  It is an information gathering meeting where I can sit and talk with you about all aspects of health in general and what you are really looking for in hiring me as your trainer.
